Want to remove your personal limitations and release the brilliant, authentic leader in you? My five pillar approach to successful leadership will help you to drive your destiny and inspire and lead those around you.
Foundations for Success: Before You Start Work on the Five Pillars
As I tell everyone who signs up for one of my leadership coaching programs before you can begin developing your signature leadership presence, you need to make changes to your life. These changes will allow you to prepare to receive all that the Five Pillars program has to offer. During this foundation building period, you should focus on mastering your time, removing energy leaks and setting powerful goals. When you feel you’re ready, it’s time to commit to doing the work required for each pillar.
Introducing the Five Pillars
My proven approach will amplify your inner strength while developing your capabilities and credibility so that you can successfully lead in today’s constantly shifting business environment. You will have the confidence, focus and impact you need to lift your performance once you have done the necessary work to address each of the five pillars.
The First Pillar: Learn to Be Authentically You
Being authentic means being super clear on what your values are. You need to identify your Valuables — activities and things that bring you joy, contentment, gratitude and pleasure. Once you know what you stand for and want to nurture about yourself the most, you can take action to align your life with your values and your Valuables.
The Second Pillar: Live a Whole Life
Once you know what makes you authentically you, you can choose to live authentically. This means investing your precious life in living your purpose. A leader who mindfully lives their purpose and helps others to do the same is someone others will want to follow.
The Third Pillar: Be Clear
Now you have an authentic picture of who you are and aspire to be, you can build a clear picture of what you need to do to take care of the things that are standing in the way of your purpose. Your leadership presence should signal to others that you are willing to do what it takes to achieve your purpose, even if it’s difficult or an unpopular choice.
The Fourth Pillar: Drive Your Destiny
By actively driving your destiny forward, you are working towards your goals and developing plans to live your purpose, knowing deep down that you are destined for great things. Those who follow you can see the path in front of you and understand what to do to get there with you.
The Fifth Pillar: Grow Your Tribe
Value fruitful and positive connection with others. When you are authentic, have a purpose and a way forward, you can build a tribe that best suits you. No leader can go it alone — it takes others to join you in accomplishing great things. Seek out like-minded and like-hearted people who will follow you anywhere.
After Completing the Five Pillars Program
Finding, developing and believing in yourself will have allowed you to craft a signature leadership presence in leading yourself and others. You will feel strengthened, with complete clarity about who you are and where you’re going. An essential part of arriving at this destination of self-fulfilment is benefitting from the support of those around you — like-minded leaders who can motivate, encourage and inspire.
Learning to lead with authenticity, wholeness, clarity, drive, and connection isn’t easy. But it is utterly worthwhile and a wonderful way to achieve goals you never dared to dream were possible.
